As 2019 comes to an end, the holidays being a big deal that it is in the Philippines, means only one thing; promotions and sales. For avid travelers and adventure seekers alike, the discounted tours and travel accommodations at the 11th annual NLEX -SCTEX Travel Fair is just the event to attend this October. The event’s tag line, “Tara Na Sa Norte” promotes the wide array of activities, tours, promotions, and discounts that attendees were able to avail of in the travel fair held in Festival Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, last 27th to 29th of September.
The opening ceremony of the much-anticipated event was led by Tourism Undersecretary Arturo P. Boncato Jr, among other district and travel committee members. Some of what many travel junkies and enthusiasts got to witness was regional food products and crafts from the Northern part of the Philippines, customized and special tour packages for several popular destinations including Cagayan Valley, Baler, and Subic among others.
Pushing Past SEA Boundaries
Some of the main booths that showed promise and attracted several visitors were the Victory Liner booth. The bus company that is giving out discounted rides and transportation tours to showcase potentials of tourist sites Central and North Luzon, since the upcoming 2019 Southeast Asian Games will be held there this coming November.
Philippine tourism has a lot to offer its locals and travelers from abroad, with the country still banking on its natural wonder and domestic beach getaways, indeed, traveling and exploring the Philippines from the inside out is just another surefire way to promote the country’s potential in the SEA region, but as well as on the international stage.
